Steeped in tradition a Dreyfuss & Co timepiece is the legacy of Rene Dreyfuss. Rene was born in a picturesque town called La Chaux de Fonds in Switzerland in 1890, and was quick to follow in his families footsteps to become a master horologist. Rene dedicated his entire life to perfecting the art of watch and clock making and by 1925 Rene established the Dreyfuss fills Company which is now the Dreyfuss & Co Brand.

By 1953 after many years of fostering a true passion for timepieces Rene's collection of clocks were exhibited in a museum , he also earned his place in the watch making history books. By 1927 Rene took retirement but still visited his office daily, continuing to offer his expertise and experience.

As history repeats itself an inspired ancestor of Rene, Robert Dreyfuss launched the Dreyfuss & Co brand, continuing Renes' legacy.

As you can see, a Dreyfuss & Co timepiece is the result of knowledge and skill passed down through the generations of the Dreyfuss Family. Time has been spent handcrafting the art of watch making to perfection, each watch remains traditional but with a subtle hint of contemporary design.

Still to this day in keeping with tradition, each timepiece has been handcrafted in Switzerland. To mark each timepiece's individuality the back of every watch carries its own unique number. Skills and techniques gained over years of production have been handed down the generations and closely guarded.
