The Alpinist has been a cornerstone of the Seiko Prospex collection since its introduction in 1959, designed for mountaineers who demanded precision and reliability in the most demanding of environments. Its distinctive dial design – with Arabic numerals, applied indices and a rotating inner compass ring – has remained iconic across generations of adventure seekers.
This modern Alpinist introduces a GMT complication, allowing the wearer to track multiple time zones simultaneously – ideal for those who travel the world as readily as they explore it.
The green dial features three-dimensional indices for a high-quality, refined feel, and LumiBrite on the hands and indices ensures legibility in low light. The 24-hour hand with red tip and 24-hour display on the bezel guarantee the legibility expected of a GMT watch. The screw-down crown and super-hard coated case provide durability and water resistance to 200m. The curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass adds a refined, classical touch. It is paired with a sustainable dark LWG (Leather Working Group) certified leather strap.
Powered by the in-house 6R54 automatic calibre, the watch is accurate to +25/-25 seconds per day with a 72-hour power reserve.

Included in the guide is a printable measuring tool to wrap around your wrist that will give us an idea of your wrist size and indicate to us how many links need to be removed. Our Youtube video gives a clear and concise visual guide with a step by step wrist measuring process.
Once you’ve measured your wrist, let us know your desired size, taking into account any movement you would like your watch to have. All links and pins removed will be provided with the watch, should you need any further adjustments in the future.
We aim to provide a virtual viewing for the watches that we hold in stock. The service we use for this is the video conferencing app ZOOM which is best used by yourself on a desktop or laptop computer. If you give us an idea of the watches you are interested in, and an appointment is set up with you, we can then discuss and live view our showrooms displays and individual watches.
You can also purchase the watch for delivery in the usual ways, on the website, by phone, paypal request, bank transfer etc.
